Bathurst has been pretty scrappy so far. That was an ambitious overtake attempt that never would have worked but I also don’t see where he could have slotted back in. Still a reckless thing to do so early in the race.

It has continued to live up to its reputation. That one spin could take that car out of the race. It’s been pretty intense. And it hasn’t even started raining yet!

It’s already a struggle for traction but the rain has begun to fall. It’ll be pretty slick until the rain washes down the course a little and the early slickness dissipates.
